The Chippa Group employs 2500 personnel in our various divisions. The Group operates nationally with regional offices in Cape Town, Midrand, Pretoria, East London, and Bloemfontein. As the waste management division of the Chippa Group we operate a number of solid waste management projects. The scope and nature of these varies and is determined according to our client’s needs. The largest of our present projects are as follows:

Tshwane /Gauteng Poject

The project is a three year ongoing community based solid waste removal and management programme for the City of Tshwane. Primarily at the Mamelodi and Hammanskraal informal settlements. This project entails the collection and removal of refuse as well as disposal of illegal dumping from 185 878 informal dwellings (estimated).

Western Cape Project

This project is also a three year community based solid waste removal and management programme for the City of Cape Town in the Du Noon Informal Settlement. There have been many media reports about the situation of pollution and how it affects people’s lives in this particular area, especially in winter. This project entails the collection and removal of refuse from 22 000 informal dwellings (estimated).

The main centre is supported by a further six academies in Gauteng, Kwa-Zulu Natal, Port Elizabeth, PE, Cape Town and Mpumalanga.

The club's first currently plays in the Premier Soccer League's Premier Division, with the reserve team playing in the PSL's reserve league.
